I’ve been thinking about adding deck completion cards for a long time and today I decided to add the first one. When you acquire all of the investment cards (5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%) you will automatically unlock a new “Any Investment Card” which lets you invest in any of the five slots for free.
To unlock the new card simply visit https://cards.renmx.com and you’ll see a new piece of text at the top like so:
Which indicates you’ve unlocked the new card and it’s now redeemable for investments on our admin shop. I hope you enjoy this new card I am planning more unlockable set completion cards like this one for other cards in the system.
I’ve also added a rare series card today which is a random drop from fishing, mining or playing Easter Eggs. I hope you’ll like that one too, it is animated!
Small update the Doors mechanic of Craftbook has been enabled on all our services. You can read more about this mechanic here at the Craftbook wiki.
I’ve also enabled “BetterLeads” which enables you to put leads on Villagers and a few other mods (Spiders, Zombies).
Many of you have been enjoying the relaunched Skyblock server and today we’ve added 32 new challenges to the server.
All of which were created by our own <3 Hiraku_Hiro.
He worked quite hard yesterday on the new challenges which introduce three new adept, miscellaneous, and master tiers across 32 separate challenges.
So you’ve got new things to work towards and new rewards to earn by someone that actually plays Skyblock and knows what people want from this game mode.
Thank you very much Hiro, I’m sure everyone will have a lot of fun with the new challenges.
BetterPistons has been enabled by user request on all our servers. You can read more about this feature and how to use it at this CraftBook wiki page: http://wiki.sk89q.com/wiki/CraftBook/Better_Pistons
Essentially it allows you make Crush, Bounce, Super Sticky and Super Push Pistons. These should be of great use in your automated farms.
Last year when we introduced our own custom private messaging system I also built into it the ability to save messages in a database. My intention was to give you the ability to browse and search your own private messages.
I thought it would be helpful not only for recording instances of inappropriate behaviour but also for when collaborating on projects you may want to read back some conversations you had when planning your builds.
Those conversation logs have been building up for almost a year now and I thought it was about time I actually built the browse and search feature to go along with it and so that is what I’ve done, this evening I added in the feature, it’s new so there may be some bugs please report any of those to me. Below you’ll find the commands.
Supplying a number allows you to browse your messages in pages with page 1 being the default page and the one with your most recent private messages (the newest message always appearing at the very bottom).
- /history find <Username|Date|Message Content>
- /history search <Username|Date|Message Content>
When using the searching you can use find or search up to you. You can search for usernames (for example the people you messaged or who messaged you) you can also search by date, for example: /history find May 9th 2016 would show you 20 messages you sent/received on that date. It also supports minutes and hours, so you could enter: /history find May 9th 2016, 10: to only view messages you sent at 10pm/am on that day.
You can also search by message content so for example you could type /history search white building and any messages sent from you or to you containing the text “white building” will show up as a result.
I hope you all like this feature, let me know what you think, I’ve tried to make it as easy to use as possible. I also wanted to reiterate our commitment to privacy, there is no staff tool to view player private messages, we do not have “Social Spy” or anything like it.
So to be clear, no staff at any time can view your private messages either when sent/received or later on through any kind of logging system.
Only I, the server owner (Pri) have access to the raw database and server log files which contain private messages. I cannot view your messages in real-time and I only view the logs of what people are messaging in the event someone brings up private message based harassment being perpetrated against themselves.
