Today we have enabled the second of two new Eastereggs, the first dubbed “The Ore Chambers” is a scripted story driven adventure where you’ll see impossible things that break the very laws of Minecraft. Mirrored floors, zero space, flying ladders and holographic mineshafts await you.
The second Easteregg tests your brain power as you navigate through three different dimensions. This multi-verse mind altering obstacle course will hopefully show you something completely different. This is one of our most technically difficult Eastereggs to produce, with more than 300 lines of code written to create it.
Both of these new Eastereggs will present you with a unique card upon your first completion. They are legendary class cards as are these Eastereggs in scale and difficulty. Of course you can complete them as many times as you wish and you’ll receive normal cards on all subsequent attempts.
In other news we have added two new sub-forums to our website. One for Server Events and one for general non-Minecraft related gaming discussion. We are hoping to hold many more events over the coming months and the new Events Sub-forum will be the best place to keep them all bubbling to the surface. We are also looking to expand our gaming community beyond Minecraft and there is no better way to do that than to create a dedicated section of our forum for you to discuss the other games you play, swap gamer tags and start playing other games together.
To assist in this endeavour we have set up a new Steam group which you can reach here: http://steam.renmx.com once you join you’ll be able to see the other games members of our community are playing and join them in those games. Don’t forget to post in our forums if you’re looking for people to play games with!
Thanks and happy Minecrafting!
I am starting to update our websites again adding in some features people have requested and securing some of our pages with our newer login system. It’s a big post so read more if you’re interested in all the geeky details!

It is with a heavy heart that I must report the sad news that Stephanie, better known as her online screen name SilverSapphire has passed away at the age of 56 to Chondrosarcoma, a rare form of Cancer originating in the bones.
Her life was a fulfilled one, she is survived by her daughter and two sons and her three grandchildren. It is fair to say that in the last few months she was in some pain and she would want her online friends to know that she is not suffering any longer.
EverClear who lived with Stephanie and her other close family members is also a part of our community and I think I can speak for everybody when I say we are deeply sorry for your loss and if there is anything you need or anything you want to do in remembrance of Stephanie, please don’t hesitate to ask. Everyone has lost someone close to them at one time or another and can relate to these circumstances.
As our community has been going for many years we have sadly lost quite a few of our friends to Cancer. It is one of the most cruel diseases, we all know someone whose been affected by it.
If you would like to do something in Stephanie’s memory perhaps consider a donation to your local Cancer charity or becoming a blood or bone marrow donator for the be the match organisation, they can find someone in need of your help and I’m sure Stephanie would appreciate it.
Just to clarify, this is the Stephanie from our WinMX community and not Stephanie_W from our Minecraft community.
I’m happy to say that on December 31st our servers were all upgraded to Minecraft version 1.7.4 and you can login and play right now.
The map border has had its radius increased from 10,000 blocks to 16,000 blocks. This is our largest increase in border size ever. We cannot wait to see what you build within these new areas.
We are now using Bungeecord as the foundation of our server infrastructure which means the chat between our three servers is unified with beautiful colour formatting and you can teleport between servers using /server <name> or by teleporting straight to your friends using /tpa <name> regardless of the server they are on. Messaging users between servers is also enabled using the normal /msg <name> command.
The change to Bungeecord isn’t just a little config change it is a server brain transplant that sets us up for the future. Faster updates to newer versions of Minecraft and more granular controls. We can’t wait to delight you with great new features this year.
Happy New Year!
